Priyanka Motaparthy
Researcher and Author; Research Fellow, IHRB
Priyanka’s work focuses on human rights abuses faced by migrant workers, particularly in the Middle East. She previously worked as a researcher at Human Rights Watch, where she authored several reports on the conditions of migrant workers in Arabian Gulf countries including the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Kuwait.
Her work included advocating for universities, museums, and companies working in the region to set minimum standards for workers associated with their projects, and to implement independent monitoring to oversee conditions.
She is currently researching a book on migrant labour in the Middle East. Priyanka is a graduate of Brown University and Columbia Law School.
