Myanmar Times: EU Says Trade Privileges Depend on Annan Report

"Six European business chambers based in Yangon also appealed to Brussels and argued that removal of tariff-free access “will undoubtedly have a detrimental impact on the most vulnerable people in Myanmar while also closing the door to the spread of European standards with regard to responsible business.” 

"In addition, the policy goes against the recommendations of the UN-mandated Fact-finding Mission on Myanmar and derails development efforts championed by EU partners, according to the Institute for Human Rights and Business, a Europe-funded think tank."
