IHRB Leadership Update

13 March 2026

After careful consideration, Brandee Butler has informed IHRB’s Board that she will step away from her role as CEO. IHRB is grateful to Brandee for the insight and leadership she has brought to the organisation, and her contributions during her tenure.  We wish her well in her future work.

Julia Batho, IHRB Deputy CEO, has been appointed acting CEO from Monday 16 March. Julia has been with the organisation for eight years, four as Deputy CEO, and brings deep knowledge of the organisation and its work. During this period, Julia and IHRB’s team will continue to work together to advance our mission in cooperation with our partners around the world.
