Morten Koch Andersen

Morten Koch Andersen is acting director of research and education and senior researcher at the Raoul Wallenberg Institute. He specializes in the nexus between corruption, human rights and just development. He has worked human rights and civil society for more than a decade, with a special interest in torture, rule of law practices, impunity and (unequal) citizenship. He previously worked as programme manager of partnership development interventions on torture prevention and rehabilitation of survivors for more than 10 years. As an academic, he has researched human rights documentation, violent organization of political youth and corrupt practices. He has worked in South Asia, West Africa, North Africa, Southern Africa, Caucasus and Europe. He has worked for the Danish Institute against Torture, Danish institute for international studies, International Anti- Corruption Academy, Roskilde University and Copenhagen University. He has a PhD in International Development Studies.
