Sean Ansett

Sean Ansett is a globally recognised sustainability leader with more than two decades of experience driving responsible business practices across the apparel, electronics, and consumer goods industries. He brings expertise in climate strategy, responsible sourcing, circular economy models, ESG frameworks, stakeholder engagement, and impact reporting. Sean is currently the Senior Director of Sustainability at John Paul Mitchell Systems (JPMS).

Prior to JPMS, Sean was a founding team member and Chief Sustainability Officer at Fairphone.  He also served as Executive Director of the Bangladesh Accord on Fire and Building Safety, advancing worker safety across the garment sector. His previous roles include Head of Supplier Responsibility at Apple, Director of Corporate Responsibility at Burberry, and Director of Global Partnerships at Gap Inc.

Sean holds an MSt in Sustainability Leadership from the University of Cambridge, Wolfson College.
