Shipping is essential to the global aluminium value chain. This makes the safety, welfare, rights and working conditions of seafarers an important consideration for responsible sourcing and human rights due diligence.
This 45 minutes webinar will explore responsible shipping, with a particular focus on the dry bulk shipping sector. Participants will gain an understanding of the main risks faced by seafarers, the international frameworks that help protect them, and the challenges and opportunities involved in working towards zero harm in maritime.
