IHRB thanks retiring trustee Ron Popper, and welcomes Dan D’Ambrosio as new Co-Chair
14 January 2026
After 10 years providing invaluable support to IHRB’s Executive and wider team, Ron Popper has retired from his post as IHRB’s Co-Chair of Trustees. In his time as Co-Chair, Ron has generously shared his extensive insights and experience to help IHRB strengthen its position as an innovator and trusted partner in the business and human rights world.
We are pleased to announce that current trustee, Daniel D’Ambrosio has become IHRB’s new Co-Chair, alongside Deanna Kemp. Dan has been a critical member of IHRB’s Board since 2016, and brings a wealth of experience helping businesses and investors navigate human rights frameworks, standards, and related laws.
Brandee M. Butler, IHRB’s CEO, said:
“Ron has been a dedicated and hands-on Chair at IHRB, helping us grow, innovate and be bold in our work to address some of the world's most pressing human rights issues. I want to thank Ron for the tireless commitment, stewardship, and generosity of knowledge he has given to IHRB since 2016.”
“We remain in good hands as Dan D’Ambrosio takes up his role as our new Co-Chair, working closely with Deanna. His leadership and support comes at a critical moment for IHRB and our mission, when forces pushing against human rights are strong and responsible business leadership is needed more than ever. Dan’s wealth of experience will no doubt strengthen our work to make human rights part of everyday business.”
