29 January 2026

VOICES Podcast

IHRB’s new CEO Brandee Butler is joined by Michael Clements, the newly appointed CEO of the Business and Human Rights Centre, for a conversation about leadership, and the shifting landscape for business and human rights.

Against the backdrop of IHRB’s annual Top 10 Business and Human Rights Issues for 2026, Brandee and Michael discuss how global conflicts; climate-driven crises, ESG backlash and rapid technological change are reshaping expectations of business leadership.

They reflect on what these risks might mean in practice and how businesses can respond with greater foresight, and resilience.

They also discuss where hope can be found in new business models and just transitions and emphasise the importance of collaboration and collective action in the business and human rights world, moving forward.
