Froydis Cameron-Johansson
Global Executive and Board member in sustainability and HSES
Froydis Cameron-Johansson has spent three decades operationalising business and human rights principles within some of the world's most scrutinised extractive, energy and infrastructure companies. Her executive roles span health, safety and security, sustainability and geopolitics at Rio Tinto, Anglo American and Shell, where she has worked with communities, Indigenous groups, governments and investors across more than thirty countries, including spending time in frontier operations in the Arctic, Africa, the Amazon and Southeast Asia.
Her expertise lies in connecting corporate strategy with field-level implementation, from leading an industry wide partnership to support gender-based violence response centres in the South African mining sector, to setting corporate strategy on diversity, equity and inclusion, alongside climate change, just transition and human rights.
Froydis is a regular speaker at IHRB's annual Masters-level course at the University of Bergen.
