As Gulf Sustain Manager at the Institute for Human Rights and Business (IHRB), Sarah works as part of the programme management team on a regional initiative focused on advancing worker welfare and responsible business practices in the Gulf. Her role places a strong emphasis on diplomacy, trust-building, and long-term relationship management with governments, businesses, investors, and international partners. She supports stakeholder engagement, applied research, and the development of practical tools and convenings designed to enable context-specific implementation and shared learning across regions.

Before IHRB

Prior to joining IHRB, Sarah worked in labour-focused organisations, where she contributed to strengthening organisational capacity, supporting collective processes, and facilitating dialogue between workers, employers, and public institutions.

At the Public Service Alliance of Canada, Sarah managed regional operations, overseeing programmes and services for thousands of workers. Her responsibilities included collective agreement implementation, policy advisory work, grievance handling, and coordination of organisational and political strategy. During her time at the Service Employees International Union, she worked on campaigns that secured improvements in wages, benefits, pensions, and workplace conditions, while engaging employers and policymakers on employment standards and workforce practices.
