As a resident and student in Bangkok, Richie found himself surrounded by people who have migrated to Thailand, including his own grandfather. Richie wanted to explore the similarities in different migration experiences, and the important role that migration plays in a global business environment. He used the medium of film to genuinely capture these migrant worker perspectives.

Spotlight: Shramik Sanjal
Founded in 2016, Shramik Sanjal is a movement representing the voices of migrant workers from Nepal. Its mission is to assist fellow migrant workers, advocate for their rights, and ensure that migrant workers policies reflect migrant worker voices. Three members of Shramik Sanjal, all migrant workers, will share migrant worker perspectives on recruitment and employment.
