Isabel Hilton is an international journalist, broadcaster and author who writes on geopolitics, climate change and China. She has worked for The Sunday Times and The Independent and presented the BBC’s flagship news programme, The World Tonight and the arts programme Nightwaves; she was a columnist for The Guardian, a staff writer for the New Yorker, and her work has appeared in the Financial Times, the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, Granta, the New Statesman, El Pais, Index on Censorship and many other publications. In 2006 she founded China Dialogue, an independent newsroom focused on China and climate change.
