Kathy has over 20 years’ experience of working in the not-for-profit sector. She has focussed on human resources, management of offices, conferences and events. She has spent several years’ undertaking governance and meeting preparation for various charities and was previously a trustee of All Nations Christian College in Hertfordshire.
Current Work
As IHRB’s Governance & People Management Officer, Kathy helps to ensure IHRB, its subsidiaries and associated companies, are well- governed by providing support, advice, and coordination of services and meetings of the Boards, Sub-Committees and Advisory Council. She also provides comprehensive support for People Management functions, including recruitment and supporting the Chief Operating Officer with written policies and working practices.
Before IHRB
Kathy has worked for three cancer charities including Imperial Cancer Research Fund (now Cancer Research UK), two faith-based organisations, The United Society and Council for World Mission; and Thames21, a London waterways charity.
Migrant workers are an integral part of global business yet the abusive use of migrant labour is prominent in many sectors. Businesses must come together and drive practices that empower rather than penalise the most vulnerable.
