Expertise

Skye has extensive experience leading strategic operations in both non-profits and private sector organisations. Her expertise lies in designing processes and initiatives that scale as organisations do and creating inclusive, progressive cultures. Skye’s experience spans the operational remit, including extensive work in financial management, business modelling and product development, as well as across the full people experience. All of Skye’s work is grounded in building inclusive organisations that put people at the heart of what they do, supporting healthy, happy and high-performing teams. 

Current Work

As the interim Head of Operations, Skye works across operations for all the central components of IHRB, including finance, internal communications, people (HR), and operational efficiency. Skye works closely with IHRB's CEO, Deputy CEO and Accountants on financial planning and budgets and supports donor reporting. Skye’s responsibilities also include leading the Operations team, identifying opportunities to improve organisational practices, and support for IHRB’s growth.

Before IHRB

Skye previously worked as a Senior People, Culture + Operations Consultant at Unleashed (a boutique people consultancy), COO at Escape the City (a tech startup connecting talented professionals with purposeful organisations), and was part of the founding team and Head of Operations & Campaigns at The Centre for Entrepreneurs (an entrepreneurial think and do tank).

In her spare time, Skye has worked as an advisor to think tank The Entrepreneurs Network, as an instructor for General Assembly, and as a Business Advisor for Facebook’s She Means Business initiative.

Skye holds a BA from University College London (UCL) in East European & Russian Politics, and an MSc from the London School of Economics in Philosophy and Public Policy.
