The idea that businesses have human rights responsibilities has become widely accepted as the result of the efforts of the so-called “business and human rights movement”. How did this movement come into being? And how will it develop, going forward?

As we prepare to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, IHRB, The Bonavero Institute for Human Rights, and the Business and Human Rights Resource Centre gather to reflect on the history and future of the business and human rights movement.

The event will take place on Thursday 6th December at 1.30pm in the Sir Joseph Hotung Auditorium, Mansfield College, Oxford OX1 3UA. To register for this free event, please visit the event registration site.
