Alex Buddon on Oil & Gas Companies’ Community Engagement

Alex Budden is the Vice-President of External Relations at Africa Oil Corp which is a Canadian oil and gas company with assets in Kenya and Ethiopia as well as Puntland (Somalia) through its 45% equity interest in Horn Petroleum Corporation.

Alex focuses on Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) issues and is involved in managing a wide range of Above Ground Risks (AGR) as well as media and investor relations.

Kelly Davina Scott, IHRB's Regional Liaison Manager, spoke to Alex in Kenya about IHRB's Nairobi Process and community engagement.
