The event will be held at the Museum of London, Docklands, West India Quay, No.1 Warehouse, Hertsmere Rd, Canary Wharf, London E14 4AL.

Travel to the Museum of London, Docklands

The nearest public transport station is Westferry on the Docklands Light Railway (DLR), which is a five minute walk from the venue. Please note that when you walk to Museum of London, Docklands from Westferry you will arrive at the rear of the building so should walk to the right round to the front - there is a Statue of Robert Millligan in front of the main entrance. 

Alternatively, Canary Wharf is a seven minute walk, and is on the London Underground network (Jubilee line) and the DLR.

Uber app is available to download in London, and black cabs are of course available at most transport points. 

From London City Airport:

  • 20 minutes: Take the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) 7 stops westbound to Westferry and the venue is a five minute walk from the station. 

From London Heathrow Airport:

  • Approximately an hour and ten minutes: There are several options - please visit the Transport for London website for the option that suits you best for your timings.  

From London Gatwick Airport:

  • Approximately an hour and twenty minutes: Take the overground Thameslink train to London Bridge, then change to the eastbound Jubilee line to Canary Wharf.

London Marriott Hotel Canary Wharf, 22 Hertsmere Rd, London E14 4ED, two minutes' walk from the venue.  

 

Restaurants

If you wish to go out for dinner after the event, there are many good restaurants very close by the Museum. These include:

  • Rum & Sugar, next door serves rum and spicy Caribbean food.
  • Burger & Lobster, next door to Rum & Sugar.
  • Roka, upmarket Japanese restaurant a five minute walk from the Museum.
