On 29 April 2020, the International Organisation of Employers (IOE) hosted a digital conference to debate the impact of COVID-19 on the business and human rights agenda.

IHRB's CEO John Morrison joined Linda Kromjong, Global Labor & Human Rights Director at Samsung Electronics and David Vermijs, Senior Adviser at Shift, on the discussion panel.  

Keynote intervention was given by the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Michelle Bachelet, and opening and closing remarks by Mthunzi Mdwaba, Chair of IOE Policy Working Group on Human Rights and Responsible Business Conduct.
